Double win weekend

Two good wins at the weekend for the 2nds and the 3rds against Donaghcloney 2nds and Lisburn 4ths.

On Saturday the seconds won by 8 wickets, after putting Cloney into bat on our new mat the skipper then led the way by taking 3 wickets and bowling Cloney out for 82.  Mark Thompson, Bob Moore and Matthew Simpson (bouncers and beamers) took two wickets each with Copey also taking his first wicket of the season.

In reply Cregagh managed to reach the target with Andy Bligh on 34 not out along with Matthew Simpson.  TD's man of the match went to Andy for his tidy work behind the stumps and his batting performance.

On Sunday the 3rds took on Lisburn 4ths and restricted them to 110 with young Olly Fleetham taking 2 wickets for 13 runs.  In reply your James Hume our NCU representative scored 26 runs to ensure the Cregagh made the target with 8 wickets in hand.

Scol's car is OK it managed to miss a number of 6's that came raining down much to the disappointment of his team mates and the 3rd XI skipper who tried his best.  Man of the match was everyone due to the all round high level of performance.  3rds now sit top of the league!!
